THE RANGE - ECO HAB™ HOMES

Currently we are building two sizes of pre-fabricated eco homes. (The 8m diameter Pod is in the design stage). ECO HAB™ 4 & 6 are constructed to the highest quality and level of insulation. They are designed to be robust and last a lifetime, with a tightly sealed thermal envelope using heat recovery ventilation to add to their efficiency in cold weather.

Both can be supplied as:

1. ‘ON GRID’ – Connected to mains electricity, water supply and sewage/waste utilities etc.
2. ‘OFF GRID’ - Totally stand alone using Wind Power, Battery Power Storage, Photovoltaic Panels, Solar Panels, Hot Water Storage, Gas Powered Standby Generator, Odourless Dry Toilet and Rainwater Harvesting and Filtration.

Any of the ‘Off Grid’ features (Wind Turbine, Solar Panels etc) may be added to the 'On Grid'.

Items such as Hot Air Recovery Unit, Under Floor Heating Pipes, and Waste Recycling Facility are fitted as standard. Both Eco Hab™ 4 & Eco Hab™ 6 have 2 floor levels (stories) sitting on a lower services area, where all the basic plumbing, water storage, pumps, and batteries are stored, if required.

ECO HAB™ 4 This 4m Pod has been designed as a short term holiday home, for 1 to 2 people, or long term single occupancy. This model offer compact living and has 12m² of floor area on each level. The ground floor comprises of a kitchen diner / living room and a separate bathroom. The first floor is the sleeping and living quarters that is also styled to double as a study, and has a Perspex disc (1 metre dia x 25mm thick) covered in toughened glass set into the floor to let light permeate the building. The transparent domed roof light allows for an abundance of natural lighting and can be shaded as required. Applications can also include - additional living / office spaces, guest accommodations, holiday homes or promotional / sales kiosks and we can also supply empty shells for customising, or Single Level units.

ECO HAB™ 6 Currently under construction. It has 2 living levels with a square area of approx 28m² per level. It is designed as either a long term home for a family of four or as a short term dwelling (for example in the holiday / leisure industry) for 4 or more people. This is a much larger structure than the ECO HAB™ 4, and will be assembled and completed onsite. As with the 4m diameter pod, it can also be supplied as a Single Level only.
